&lt;p&gt;The Greater Boston Region&apos;s Private Practice Shared Interest Group (SIG) support members with all aspects of private practice, including administrative, marketing, legal, and clinical issues. In addition to focusing on practical matters such as billing, and insurance company policies, the committee also addresses how these concerns impact clinical work.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Greater Boston Private Practice meetings, usually the third Friday of every month, are also followed by time for self-led mentoring until 11:30AM.&lt;/p&gt;

The family resides in a Section 8 tenement and subsists on welfare. Her first child, known only as &amp;ldquo;Mongo&amp;rdquo; (short for &amp;ldquo;Mongoloid&amp;rdquo;), has Down Syndrome and is being cared for by Precious&amp;rsquo; grandmother.&lt;/div&gt;

            After Precious becomes pregnant for the second time, she is suspended from school. Her junior high school principal, Mrs. Lichtenstein (Nealla Gordon) arranges to have her attend an alternative school, which she hopes can help Precious change her life&amp;rsquo;s direction. Precious fights to find a way out of her traumatic daily existence through imagination and fantasy. Inspired by her new teacher Ms. Rain, (Paula Patton), Precious begins learning to read. She begins to see a social worker Mrs. Weiss, (Mariah Carrey), who learns about the incest in the household when Precious blurts &amp;ldquo;my father give me a baby.&amp;rdquo;&lt;/div&gt;

            &lt;div&gt;Precious fights back and flees the apartment with her second baby, and almost has the TV dropped on her from the top of the stairs. &lt;p&gt;The Greater Boston Region&apos;s Private Practice Shared Interest Group (SIG) support members with all aspects of private practice, including administrative, marketing, legal, and clinical issues. In addition to focusing on practical matters such as billing, and insurance company policies, the committee also addresses how these concerns impact clinical work.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Greater Boston Private Practice meetings, usually the third Friday of every month, are also followed by time for self-led mentoring until 11:30AM.&lt;/p&gt;
